Drug addiction is one of the major health issues today. Not only in one country, drug addiction is widespread allover the world. People both male or female, young or old, rich or poor, black or white, Asian or American, educated or uneducated, employed or unemployed, people from rural or urban back grounds everybody is abusing drugs and getting addicted these days.
Some schools, work places and some people at homes conduct drug testing to detect the drug abusers. There are many types of drug testing. Some of the major types are pre-employment testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing and post-accident testing.
Pre employment testing: This kind of drug testing is generally carried out at work places. A person before getting employed into a company is tested for drug abuse. They want to make sure that drug addicts don’t enter their organization.
Random testing: Random drug testing is generally done at schools and workplaces to detect the drug abusers. In this type of testing, a person or two are randomly selected to take drug test.
Reasonable suspicion testing: This kind of drug testing is generally carried out at sports events, workplaces and even at homes. A person is asked to take drug test when there is considerable suspicion on him or her that they have abused drugs.
Post accident testing: As the name itself states, it is generally conducted on suspicious person who is involved in accident at work place.
