World online promotional spending is increasing year to year; spending for 2011 is 15.8% which is more than last year (14.4%). Online spending for 2011 was $72,842 million which is more than in 2010 ($63.979 million).

After looking at the statistics, The Department for Transport in UK added that the overall cost of motoring, including tax and insurance, petrol and oil has risen slowly than the cost of living, measured by Retail Index Price (RPI). DfT also figured that, VED evasion for 2011, which reveals that around 249,000 vehicles are down from an estimated figure of 307,000 for 2010. Thus resulting in an estimated amount of around £40 million in Britain in 2011-12, down from the figure of £46 million in 2010-11.

At last the government has listened to the concerns of various organizations for motorists and promised to deliver support worth more than £4.5 billion over two years.

Moreover petrol and diesel will be10 pence cheaper per liter, and the national infrastructure is planning to invest over £1 billion in tackling congestion and improving road network.

Half the smart phone mobile users have accessed mobile banking from their phone in the last 30 days, a February research 2011 on mobile banking adaption and satisfaction has revealed. According to the report by the global banking and payments technology company FIS, it is said that 76% of the US mobile banking users are satisfied in 2011 and 16% in 2010. The satisfaction percentage is increasing more in the smart phone user as compared to the other mobile users.

Further, the study also says that 57% of the US smart phone consumers have expressed interest in doing remote deposit functionality. According to the FIS reports, many smart phone users are using mobile banking for the services like accessing accounts, paying bills, depositing checks and making purchases.

Ford’s net income for 2011 was 20.2 billion dollars with 2.1 million vehicle sales with 11% sales growth than last year, it is the second US car sellers than the GM with 16.8% of US market share.

Dow Jones Newswires economist survey forecast the car sales in January at 0.9% but its reported 0.4% growth. Mr. Millan Mulraine, senior US strategist said, “ Retail sales in US are being driven by the confidence improvement of the consumer and and also by decent income gains”.

Retails sales does not reach their forecast number due to high unemployment in past years, consumers are thinking of taking the car purchasing decisions. Unemployment has declined to 8.3% still people are thinking about their purchases. Increasing fuel prices also upset the car sales in US.

But the consumer interest will be increasing on buying the new cars and it will reach the forecast value for farther months.

Average sales of US auto dealers in 2011 was 715. Their forecast sales for 2012 is 785 vehicles which is more than average sales of 2000 (784 vehicles). 100 more auto dealers have added in US and their current number is 17,767- all sell vehicles.

GM and Chrysler are the top contributors in US Auto industry they are having around 2,200 dealership networks in the country. Additionally Fiat added 135 dealership and Chrysler Jeep Dodge added 50 dealerships in 2011. Ford is also consolidating their dealership networks.

In US the performance of the franchises also decreasing more. In 2011 franchises were decreased to 2.4% with 30,098 to 29,380 because of huge losses of mercury brand.

Dealers are expecting for 2012 sales with good growth and they are using internet facilities in their dealership. Dealers are generating 80-90 leads from the Internet facilities to increase sales.
