Ford motors second quarter profits were decreased but the sales have increased. The company is investing more money for producing the new model and plans to expand its sales in Asian markets. The company received 8% loss in their profits compared to 2010.

The officials from the company have said that, they are focusing on the overall balance sheet and we are investing huge money on new product development. They are projecting their future sales performance in US and are taking measures to achieve those forecast profits.

Ford’s world wide sales growth is increased but they are investing more money on purchasing materials like steel and copper etc., for product development. Just recently, Ford reported their pretax profits in which they incurred losses of $1 million. They are starting new plants and developing existing ones. Revenue rose 13% with $35.5 billion more than the forecast value $32.15 billion.

Due to japan earth quake, many consumers turned their interests on Ford and other brands. Supply strategies helped Ford to keep their high price in second quarter.

It produces a torque of 475 Nm. A six speed Select Shift auto with steering paddles does transmission duties. Larger brakes and a torque vectoring control, which uses limited application of individual brakes to enhance cornering, are added to the all wheel drive setup. It also got performance package which is said to improve the car’s performance prowess and it includes sport tuned suspension and a Track Mode setting.

2013 Ford Taurus gets a few face with trapezoidal high intensity discharge headlamps and black mesh grille. A fender mounted scallop with SHO badge and 19 inch wheels can be seen on the sides. Interiors of the vehicle includes leather wrapped steering wheel, leather trimmed sport seats with embroidered SHO graphics, unique woven aluminum trim and adjustable aluminum pedals with memory. MyFord Touch graphic user interface which replaces some of the easier to use knobs and buttons with a touch screen is also equipped in this model. The electronic steering system has been tuned and stability control now has a track mode.

The revised 2013 Taurus SHO, like the mainstream Tauri will be coming for the sale in next spring. The base price is likely to remain just under $40,000.

Since 2004, the sales of small cars were seen to be on rise every year, except 2009 and 2010, i.e, during the times of recession. But the sales are expected to be higher in the coming years in USA. In 2010, U.S. sales of small cars gained just 0.3%, while the overall market climbed 11%. Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic were the America’s No. 1 and No. 2 selling small cars in 2010, and they are the benchmarks for value and reliability. These models faces the competition from the number of small cars to be introduced by the auto makers all over the world who are looking to introduce their small cars in to the US market.

Honda Civic

The US small car market segment will have a bright future. This positive turn can be attributed to the increase in fuel prices, as the Americans are found preferring the small cars to SUVs because of their fuel efficient nature. For example, Chevrolet offers a version of its roomy Cruze compact, Which is rated by the EPA as the best-in-class vehicle in this segment as it gives, 42 mpg on the highway. Ford Focus and Fiesta both give 40 mpg. Ready to be launched model of Hyundai, the sleek Elantra, gives 40 m.p.g.

The new cars expected to be launched in 2011 in to US market are Buick Verano, Chevrolet Sonic, Dodge Caliber replacement, Fiat 500, Ford Focus, Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Veloster, Kia Rio, Lexus CT 200h, Mini Countryman, Mini coupe, Nissan Juke, Scion tC, Scion iQ, Smart For Two electric, Toyota Prius V, Volkswagen Jetta, Volkswagen Beetle etc.

The auto makers offering small cars with better technology and higher quality, exiting look and more comfort are expected to have good sales in the market.

One has to choose between a private party and a car dealership while buying a used car. Some people believe that private parties sell used cars at a better price compared to a dealer. But there are several drawbacks of buying a car from a private party. Buying a car privately can be a long and frustrating process. Moreover, the private parties will not provide warranty on the vehicle, so you can’t go back to them once you make the purchase. Also, shady used car dealers often act as individuals. Many times, you may get bad cars. Whereas, buying a used car from a dealership is hassle free and comes with several advantages.

Wide selection of models
At a car dealership, you can take a look at many cars at one place. Car dealers generally sell various models from different manufacturers. It saves your time, money and gasoline running across all the private parties in the town. You can find a good vehicle based on your budget and needs at one place.

Safety
Car dealers ensure the quality and safety standards on all the cars they sell. All the used cars will be checked by experienced mechanics and quality control managers at the dealership. They roll out a car from the dealership only after they are satisfied by all the controls of the car.

Saves time
Purchasing a car from a dealership saves your time and you can buy quickly. Driving from one location to another and scheduling with everyone is time consuming and tests your patience.

Provides attractive finance
Almost all car dealerships provide finance options for used cars. You can easily get a loan for your used car through the dealership. Generally car dealerships have a good relation with lending institutions or banks. You may even be able to get better financing rates through a dealership.

Potential bargains
Individuals sell used cars at lower prices, but you should remember that there is still a room for bargaining at the car dealership. You can negotiate with the dealer and work out a cheaper price or get extra options included to your car.

Certified used cars
You can get a certified used car from a dealership. Certified used car is an affordable, attractive alternative to a new car of higher price. Simply, you can get a good quality car at lower price. It will be thoroughly inspected by professional mechanics and the original vehicle manufacture warranties the mechanical condition, quality and standard of the car.

Online services provided
Many car dealers today have online presence. You can enjoy all the comforts of your home while shortlisting the car from these dealers online. After that, you can visit the dealership and check out the shortlisted car. You need not go from place to place to buy your car, instead you can now shortlist some options from wide range of cars at a dealership over the Internet.

Apart from the above mentioned advantages, there are many more which makes your used car shopping at a car dealership a good choice. You can never overlook the convenience factors at a dealership such as financing, registration, insurance, extended warranties and accessories etc. Remember, car dealership has a reputation to protect, so it cannot afford to sell unworthy vehicle. This is not the same with an individual seller.

Internet marketing can represent your automobile business in a better way too. You can laser-target your audience very specifically based on multiple categories such as zip code & city. This means, ROI for Internet marketing is far better when compared to offline marketing, which works on mass marketing basis.

Two way communicative marketing: Anyone who searches for an automobile online should find your website in no time through online marketing. Search Engines provide an insight on how your potential customers are searching for services and their response to the various marketing methods you apply. There is two-way communication between you and your customers through Internet marketing unlike traditional marketing.

Add value and satisfaction: Internet marketing adds value to your automobile business with its tailor made solutions that are suitable for you. There is great satisfaction knowing the result of each penny you spend on Internet marketing.
