The 80th and the latest edition of the Geneva Motor Show is expected to introduce 80 more models. Once if you walk around the Walk around the Geneva Auto Show, you will notice a lot of difference in the today’s car designs compared to the models ten years back. As the demand, competition and the size of the automobile industry is increasing, manufacturers started to significantly expand their ranges with new designs to appeal and grab the customers over the years.

However, it is important to notice in the present Geneva motor show that the new designs are more holistic with all of their components integrated more perfectly. One of the latest significant trends in car design these days is the way front and rear lamps bleed into the surrounding body panels. They are now integrating into the rest of the exterior design to look sleeker than ever before.

One can observe a numerous car design trends at the show including new small SUV crossovers like the Nissan Juke and the Mini Countryman. Small premium cars are entering with sleeker designs like the Audi A1 and the Aston Martin’s Cygnet. The glossy new compact Citroen DS High Rider, ‘uber’ sedans from Germany and Alfa Romeo Guilietta. You can also observe new designs in the BMW 5 series and Audi A8.
