Surge In iPhone App Development Due To iPad

As per a new report from research company Flurry, the iPad’s success in the beginning could be estimated by the number of new applications which will support the platform. Flurry is an analytics company for mobile-app developers, which helps in tracking industry trends. Depending on the number of developers which have incorporated Flurry’s tracking code into their apps, the latest deviation in the market shows new application starts for the iPhone rushed, reaching extraordinary levels.

According to the data, January’s iPhone application starts nearly tripled those registered for December. This shows Flurry, is the greater piece in its tracking history on any mobile platform, with nearly 1,600 app starts.

Google’s Android mobile platform was terminating the gap on Apple’s iPhone OS, but improved interest in developing apps for the iPhone OS and stretched Apple into the lead again. Flurry said the reason for the surge is the iPad.

The tablet utilizes the same operating system as Apple’s popular smartphone, but the iPad is much bigger. Apple has set the device between a Netbook and the iPhone. The iPad comes with a 9.7-inch screen, with either Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi and 3G.
